This past weekend
Wow what a busy weekend.. I am still trying to catch up on everything else. Well May 28th was Nick and I's 6 years together.. We celebrated by going to see Jeff Dunham at the Alliant Energy Center on Friday. He is hilarious. He is a ventriloquist with puppets named Walter, Achmed, Peanut and Jose the Jalapeño. Well those are the 4 he brought to the show plus he encored with Bubba J which was hilarious because everyone in the audience knew Bubba J's lines so they were reciting them.. Jeff said it was weirdest show he's done.. Funny!
This is Jeff with Peanut ( the purple thing) and Jose is in the other hand.. Sorry it is hard to see but I had it at full zoom and no Flash to actually get the photo.. We were in the 2nd to last row.. We could touch the rafters if we wanted.. lol. All in all it was a fun date night though.
Saturday and Sunday we hit up menards and got some paint for the living room. Ended up getting too light of a green which will be our playroom and downstairs hall once it is finished.. We went back and got a spiced Vinegar color.

Sorta hard to see it was night time so not much extra lighting from outside.. I will do another one once I get my new sheer curtains for the windows. But this is more or less the after shot minus the finishing touches.. :D
The week has been pretty quiet, been busy catching up on all the fun stuff that got passed over to do the painting. As for our next painting mission we are going to tackle the boys room. It is going a nice butter cream yellow maybe a wee bit darker yellow. But we will have awesome new curtains in there too that will have the darkening backing (made with love by my mother in law! She rocks!) I am hoping maybe this Sunday we can paint it but we have a pretty busy weekend.
Friday (aka Tomorrow) we have a doctors appt for an Ultrasound for the baby. I am half way at 20 weeks.. Just 20 more to go.. Plus on Friday we need to return 2 cabinets we bought that once home I was not too happy with so BACK they GO! Maybe I will get to Walmart also and get my living room curtains tomorrow. hmm busy busy.
Saturday we are going to head down to Cassville to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Klauer. The boys and Nick are going to hang out all day.. Around 1 I will boogie to my cousin Danielle's Bridal Shower. Then head back afterwards for dinner. and then we will head home close to bed time!
Sunday relaxing day maybe painting.. Depends on Energy levels.. :D Well I will try to get on tomorrow and put some Ultrasound photos up of the sweet new baby.
