Monday Again!
Well we had another busy week.
Thursday- my step dad came up with my brother Kory. We went to Menards got the supplies to work on the HVAC and ran into a wee little problem that we will have drop the ceilings if we went the route we were going.. So I think we are going to go a different route and just pull 2 new pipes off the main HVAC system to supply the 2 bedrooms. So this week he will be back up and we will patch the one we attempted and start over on the other two.. Which means I need to find my receipt so we can go back to Menards and get the new stuff we need. Fun Fun. Thursday night I went and got my hair cut over 8 inches to donate to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths. That helps make wigs for women with cancer. Still getting used to it short but I know it is going to a good cause and with all these crazy preggo hormones it should grow back pretty fast. Not sure I am going to let it get as long as it was but back to in between my shoulder blades will probably be my new length.

After shot of the back.. Once it grows out I will add Layers and I think it will look nicer.
Friday- was a pretty boring day not to much going on.
Saturday- was our run around day we got up early and went to the grocery store.. On the way we passed an apartment fire that was across the street from our old town home. By the time we were done grocery shopping every fire truck in the area was in on the helping. The road had them lined up for blocks and not just Madison's Fire dept, but Fitchburg, McFarland and all the surrounding areas.. Pretty darn crazy.
We pretty much spent Saturday as a family day which was nice we haven't been getting too many of those with all the obligations we have had over the summer so far.
Sunday- we went down to Grandma and Grandpa Klauer's to help celebrate Grandma Klauer's birthday that happened on July 21st. It was a great trip we got to spend time with Nick's parents and his brother's family was there also so we got to hang out with our niece and nephew. It was the first time Nick got to meet Rylee since every time the boys and I meet up with them he was busy at drill. Well we hung out all day.. Inside and outside. Had a great lunch outside. Later Nick, Kim, Noah and Isaac went to the fire dept and checked out all the great trucks. It is sorta an every time we visit Isaac wants to go type thing.. But he just can't get enough of checking out the fire trucks. Well here are some photos of the day..

Our Boys fighting over a toy. Nothing too unusual about that.

Helping Grandma Klauer open her birthday presents.

My messy eater. Who LOVES cake. Yes he needed a shower when we were done.

Nick getting to hold Rylee for the first time. He is a little stand offish he isn't used to a 10lb baby anymore our chunky monkey's are crazy... But he will get back in the hang of it once Adam is born. But he got some good practice with Rylee.

Me getting my Rylee fix.. She so little.. And she just loved watching the boys playing and taking in the surroundings.

Troy checking his blood pressure.. :D

Isaac is getting pretty good at frisbee and throwing balls and stuff.

Playing in the yard what a fun day.. Noah is kicking the ball, Kris is observing, Troy is eating the frisbee and Isaac is off exploring between the plants.. What a great afternoon.
Well as for today I am going to try a new recipe today! I am working on finding new recipes that don't include my favorite ingredient ~~ TOMATOES~~ Because so far my skin seems to be doing good with out them.. So more research and recipe box stuffing trying to find some new family favorites. I am making garlic mashed potatos to go with our yummy pork chops.

Parmesan-Crusted pork chops.
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup dried Italian-style bread crumbs
- 3/4 cups freshly grated Parmesan
- 4 (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick) center-cut pork loin chops (each about 10 to 12 ounces)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions
Whisk the eggs in a pie plate to blend. Place the bread crumbs in another pie plate. Place the cheese in a third pie plate. Sprinkle the pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Coat the chops completely with the cheese, patting to adhere. Dip the chops into the eggs, then coat completely with the bread crumbs, patting to adhere.
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a very large skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops, in batches if necessary, and cook until golden brown and the center reaches 150 degrees, about 6 minutes per side. Transfer the chops to plates and serve with lemon wedges.
