Unwanted Phone Call
Well everyone we knew it was a possibility and I was more set on the fact that I knew he was going to go. Things were lined up to perfectly for working on the basement. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop.
So at 16:00 today 4pm for you all out there that aren't military clock oriented. We get the phone call that yes Nick is leaving for his new MOS school. He will be going down to North Carolina Tuesday morning (knowing my luck bright freaking early). So that gives us Saturday, Sunday and Monday to set up everything that needs to be figured out by the time he leaves. His work has to be called and his hours need to be pre-entered for Military obligations. His insane amount of military laundry needs to get done. Luckily our regular laundry is done I have been prepping for him needing the machine. He needs to get packed. Our boys need to feel loved and told that daddy will be gone for a while. Prepping them is the hardest they both now know when he is gone and feel the pain of him being gone and usually reek havoc on me for a while till they get it out of their system. But I am the mom I can take it. We need to get another Lawn mowing in then hopefully my brother can help me do the mowing while Nick is gone since I am allergic to grass clippings and my skin flares up something awful. Mostly it is a mental prepping right now. Nick was pretty set he wasn't going to go that the chances were pretty slim to none so right now it is about prepping him to go. He misses us just as much as we miss him. So again Nick will be gone until Sept 25th so that is going to put a huge kink in all the plans that we have for the next few weeks. It is really hard right now being big bellied and all and trying to keep up with the 2 boys on my own. So if we don't make obligations or events we are invited to we are sorry but hey I am doing the best I can.
As for my previous posts. The UPS fraudulent charges are starting to come through and clear on our account. I had a wee bit of hope this morning thinking that some of them were denied but that was not the case. So once all 30 charges come through I will call up the police officer assigned to the case and hand over the rest of the numbers. And then I get to go into the bank and claim the $860 to get reimbursed. Again I am thankful that Nick's Card was not compromised and that he still has access to money during his travel time. I would hate to have to send him with a lot of cash. I have never felt comfortable carrying around a lot of cash and I don't think he does either.
As for the Crib we went to Wal-mart and returned it yesterday and they gave us cash back for the amount we bought it for. None of the cribs in stock were what we were looking for so we hit the online again and found a nice crib normally $160 on a special sale for $120. It has been ordered today with help of my Oma and Mutti we should be getting it between 8-26 and 9-1! Now I just need to ask the neighbor to help me bring it in the house.
I had my last monthly doctor appointment today and will be going to every 2 weeks for 3 appointments and then every week until we have the baby. We will be at St. Mary's for this wee little one. I was hoping for Meriter again but the medical chart systems are interlinked with St Mary's and Dean so I won't have to worry about transferring medical charts and keeping it update.. So one less thing to worry about.
So there is our update! We are sad to see Nick go but it needs to get done. It was either now or next year. So tomorrow we are going to have our new Donut Saturday tradition and hang out with the boys and get everything packed for Nick so it will be a pretty busy weekend but come to think about it what weekend so far this summer hasn't been crazy busy.. So here we go again. I just hope the boys take it a little easier this go round but I am not going to hold my breath.. So please send me good patience vibes since I know they will be lost and confused on why daddy is gone.
Have a nice weekend!!
