Drywall Complete!
Well Friday was the last day of our Drywalling Extravaganza. The basement is drywalled and textured. Monday and Wed Nick and my brother are going to paint the rooms and Tuesday and Thursday we have Carpet going in... We have to do these in phases too because of all the stuff down stairs. I really can't wait to go through all that stuff and JUNK, DONATE, or SELL.. I have a guy coming today interested in our Remnant hopefully he will buy it and take it with him without messing up my beautiful new walls. Like I told his wife I hope he brings someone to help him because I really prefer not to be helping carry this massive remnant. Though it is in 2 pieces it once was 30x12 feet. So that is 360 sq feet I do not want to help carry. And once he has come and gone Noah and I are heading out to Babies R Us to exchange our gate panel AGAIN!! these boys are terribly ruff. I can't wait till the basement is not a construction zone and can open the gate and let them go freely up and down the stairs. I will just have to put it back up once Adam is mobile.
Well it is just Noah and I this weekend. Nick is off to Drill and Isaac is visiting my mom. So we are having a pretty laid back weekend. Which feels so unfamiliar and weird due to the amount of crazy our world has been in. We are getting closer to the basement being done. And definitely closer to me having Adam. So things are sorta just coming to a head right now. We still have a lot to do to prepare. We are going to move our room to the basement probably Thursday Night I am hoping and then can paint and set up Adam's room upstairs in the room we are currently occupying. Along with digging out the bassinet and his clothes and all the other fun stuff. It is going to be a busy week for all of us.
Not much else going on other than I have been scouring Ebay for halloween costumes for the boys and if I get all the ones I have bids on for the bid I have them I will have 3 adorable Firemen for Halloween for the grand total of $27.50 this total includes shipping prices..
