Slower but Fast

Wow. Our world seems to have slowed down from the construction craze. We have our downstairs livable.. There is still lots to do. Like Trim, getting the bathroom hooked up.. That is a big one. and getting the rest of the outlets and lights and smoke detectors hooked up and the cable hooked up and of course we need to call in the inspectors to give it the final go! Which when that is done it will be great. Then we will just be needing to pay off all our construction stuff. So in a sense the world has slowed down but at the same time tomorrow our new little baby Adam will be 2 weeks old and going in for his 2 week weigh in. He is such an amazing baby. He is so sweet and cuddly like all babies and he does do pretty well for sleeping. He wakes up at 8:30-10p usually and then the rest of the night till 6 is usually just up long enough to tell me he is hungry. So quick diaper change and feeding and he is back out. Very nice. Of course the interruption in sleep makes me feel not so rested but right now I have my best friend to lean on. Not sure what it will be like once he goes back to work full time.. AAAHHHH sorta scared there. Nick has been great helping take my brother to and from school and helping me entertain the kids while I nurse. We will see how the schedule goes come November 9th when he is no longer home during the day. By then Adam will be almost a month old. And I will have to get back into our fun schedule of shopping days, Princeton club days and Play and Learn days. Busy Busy Busy. Well we have our plans set up for Halloween dinner with Becky, Chris and family. And then of course Trick or Treating.. I can't wait to see the boys all dressed up as Fire Chiefs.. Gonna be cute. So our world is just passing day by day and just sitting here with Nick all day and the boys enjoying being home with family. Life is great.
