A Day Late But too tired to post last night
So HAPPY VETERANS DAY yesterday... What a fun and busy day.. Adam is 4 weeks old..
The boys and I went to play and learn in the morning.. Wooohhhoo Was that fun by myself. I had to throw Adam in the Sling just to keep up with Isaac and Noah. We had a great time playing. I am glad we have this outlet every Wednesday morning because winter is closing in fast and it is nice to get out of the house and run off some energy.. The ladies (teachers) are great. I feel like I need to learn spanish though since it is a English/Spanish group and I am definitely in the minority. I also like that the teachers are keeping me updated on the progress of Madison getting a 4K.
Nick came home early so after nap time we packed up the boys and headed out to Toys R Us and I am so excited for all the goodies we got. Right now they have a sale on classic fun preschool games. So we picked up 8 games for $3.99 each plus all 8 came with a $2 mail in rebate.. So that was like 8 games for $1.99 plus since the total was over $25 we got a $10 gift card to use on another trip.. But I also got some christmas presents getting my bill up to $75.25 so I got another $10 Gift Card to use another time. So after the 2 gift cards and mail in rebate I got $75.25 worth of stuff for about $40 AWESOME I feel so frugal it is great.
Then we hit up Applebee's who was having a Veteran's Eat free night for Veterans day.. Plus when we got there the hostess told us it was kid's meals were $0.99 each.. GOODNESS what a great day! We had a nice meal for a really skimpy price. To add to the fun the Miller Lite Girls were there handing out samples of the new beer that was made to compete with the microbreweries. So we each got a sample and then Nick got an extra sample. He drank all 3 so it was like a free glass of beer for him. What a nice day to feel like we are living large on a tiny budget amist the crazy economy.. I hope we have more days like this.. I am really enjoying clipping coupons and finding the deals and making our money stretch.. Because seriously COUPONS are money in your pocket! Well I am going to keep watching the Frugal blog and taking notes from her playbook and hopefully I can get really good at it with out spending an insane amount of time trying to find the deals..
Speaking of deals I am already getting the BLACK FRIDAY updates.. Target has the Tom Tom on sale for $97 regularly $249.99 if anyone is interested in one. :D Well Hugs and This was my VETERANS DAY SHOUT OUT!! sorry it is a day late but after our adventure yesterday I was ready for bed...
