Waterparks, Blizzards and Sun Dogs oh My!!
So far so busy.
Monday night we headed up to the dells for a little R and R at the Wilderness Waterpark resort. It was great.. The water was cool the Air was hot the boys had fun. We got up there ordered dinner and then headed down to the waterpark for a bit. We did more of our play on Tuesday. Tuesday we got up and went to IHOP. Good thing too since when we walked in to sit down Isaac announced.. "I want pancakes!" He made the hostess laugh. When we got back we cleaned up our room and headed down to play in the water. We hung out till about 1:30p then we got dressed and headed to the arcade play area and hung out there till 3 then we headed home so that we would make it before the BLIZZARD.. Yup you read that right BLIZZARD!!!! BRRR.

Tuesday night thru Wednesday we got around 16 inches of snow and the winds were insane. We got amazingly lucky since the wind and heavy snow knocked down branches everywhere. A branch literally fell right behind our vehicles it just brushed the bumper of the van and that was it.. No Damage.. WHEW Wednesday I spent the majority of the day playing Wii with my family and my brother who was home from school. But I was also out helping clear snow off the sidewalks and the vehicles and moving the branch. Along with helping people who were stuck in the snow. There was a medical transport van that got stuck in front of our house. He was driving a lady to dialysis. So a few neighbors and I grabbed shovels and ice picks and got him out of the snow bank in front of our house.. Crazy Crazy.

Today everywhere in the area was on a 2 hour delay EXCEPT my brothers school.. The roads were insane. I can't believe they didn't delay them too. None of the roads were clear enough except the beltline. It was pretty scary.. Just coming out of my neighborhood I had to turn the wheel to lane next to me to not slide into the intersection. I had a few times I had to engine break since we were sliding everywhere. CRAZY. On the way back from dropping him off I got to see an awesome Sun Dog which is a rainbow halo around the sun. I only had my cell phone so I took a couple photos while stopped at a light but definitely was wishing I had a better camera.. I have been researching some and I am wanting a Nikon s640. Maybe I will get one for Christmas? :) Well enjoy the photos.. Busy Busy week.

This weekend Nick has Toys for Tots so he will be heading out Friday and come home on Sunday. He is also dropping my brother and Isaac off with my mom. Isaac is going down to help make Christmas cookies.. He better bring back some for us.. :D I love Christmas Cookies. Well a few more weeks till Christmas and I have a pile of presents that are needing wrapping better get busy.
