Survived plus 6 new prescriptions
Our Allergist appt for Noah turned into an appointment for mom, Noah and Adam.
Noah- Is now on 2 new creams Elidel and Triamcinolone and his Hydroxyzine has been uped from 1/2 tsp once a day to 1/2 tsp in the morning and 1 tsp at night. He also got his blood drawn for a allergy testing panel. It took 4 people and myself and 5 sticks to get this childs blood. 4 of us held him down while one drew the blood and it took them 5 tries between the 2 arms to get enough blood to test. It was a horrible experience for all involved. I had Adam in the sling on my back Noah in my arms squirming then crying. All around awful.
Adam- While we were there I asked the doctor to listen to him with the stethoscope because I thought I heard wheezing this morning. Turns out my ears were correct. He has a double ear infection that has triggered asthma like symptoms in his lungs (tightening of his lungs) and along with some fluid in there. So they gave him a nebulizer treatment their and prescribed him a treatment every 4 hours as needed. Luckily we already own a nebulizer. Along with some Prednisone steroid 2x daily to open his lungs and Zithromax for the ear infection.
Me- I am on a new cream for my eczema on my face ( I got a box of samples) and also blood drawn for food allergy testing.
We all have an appointment in 2 weeks to see how we are fairing and I should know in a few day to a week what the results of the allergy test are for Noah and I.. Crazy crazy.. Too much info I am going to need to make a medicine time chart so I can remember to give everyone the correct stuff at the correct time.. SOOOO Crazy..
