Crazy Week
Well it has been a crazy week. We still haven't finished the fence due to the rain hopefully we can get out there sometime soon and get it finished up.. My uncle and Cousin came up on Tuesday to work on the basement they are predicting about 2-3 more work days till our ruff in inspections and then 2-3 days to finish up for the final inspection.. Pretty exciting I can't wait till it is done.. Here are some before photos of our basement.
Future site of the downstairs bathroom
this is where my washer and dryer and the electric box will be enclosed!
Ok so this is a view standing in what will be a bedroom. The furnace will be boxed in! And in that back corner is the play area.. Then where you can't see next to the spot I am standing will be the master bedroom. and in the far front corner you can't see will be more storage..
Super Exciting.. Once I clean up downstairs a little I will post some photos of our ruff in.
Other fun is that Tonight I am going to a LNO (ladies night out) with some Girl friends of mine and we are going to a yummy hibachi grill. Can't wait.. Fun fun. Well that is just a little update on what is going on around here.
I tried a new freezer recipe last night and it was super duper easy and yummy!! So here it is
Chicken Marsala Freezer Recipe
1 - 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast, thinly sliced
1 cup flour
1 egg, beaten (possibly additional eggs)
1 stick butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup Marsala wine
Salt & pepper
In skillet, melt butter and add olive oil. Dip chicken pieces in egg, then dredge in flour to coat. Place chicken in frying pan and fry until golden on each side. Add chicken broth and remaining ingredients and simmer in skillet for ten minutes. Transfer to freezer-safe casserole (foil is ideal), cool, then label and freeze.
To prepare from frozen:
Heat oven to 350 degrees and loosely cover casserole with foil. Bake chicken marsala for 40 minutes, then remove foil. Continue cooking for 20 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Serve over pasta or rice.
