The wacky world of the Klauer Klan!

Wow What a crazy time.. We went down to Mc Farland for the Holiday Lighted Fire Truck Parade. Nick thought this meant the firetrucks would be crusing down the street with their lights on.. I assumed that it would be decorated sorta like the disney lighted parade floats which I was right :D! We got there way early found a spot on the route.. Or so we thought! Turns out the route was wrong on the website so the parade turned and went down a different street and did not come all the way down to where we were. Funny thing is Isaac and I were standing out waiting for them to come down and when they didn't and we noticed them about 3 streets over I picked him up and ran on the ice and snow down to the corner and over 3 blocks. But we got there only in time to see the rear end of the parade.. So Isaac and I continued to run down the street closer to the fire station and got to see the parade as they were coming around the corner and backing into the fire station. Sad but we got to see some of it! Sorry the photos are blurry.. I am in desperate need of a better camera. So after the parade was a potluck and Santa was there for the kids to talk to! Isaac was so excited to see santa that he went up and sat on his lap Twice. Well Next year I am hoping that we will get to see the full parade. It was pretty cool.

As for Today I seriously need to wrap my presents or wait for a Wrapping fairy to come in and do it which hasn't worked so far so I guess it is up to me.. HEHE
