Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day was Adam's 4 month birthday wow he is getting so big so fast.
Valentine's Day we packed up the car with presents and all the yummies I made the day before and headed down to Bagley for my mom's Birthday party. On our way down to Bagley we made a pit stop in Bloomington at the school my mom works at to decorate her classroom. I asked Father Bart if I could get his keys to get into the school. I didn't realize that was the easy part. I didn't know the combo for the gate and my brothers weren't answering the phone so I just climbed the gate to get to the 3rd floor where my mom's classroom is. Not an easy feat to do with snow boots on.. lol.. But I got to the 3rd floor and of course just my luck my mom had locked her door too! So so much for decorating in the room but I sure did a number on the outside. lol.. It wasn't as decorated as the year one of my Besties worked with my mom and let me in during CCD to go crazy decorative but it still had all the love.
We got down to my moms and hung out for the day. Then for dinner My Tante, Uncle Kurt and their boys and soon to be daughter in law came down for dinner along with my grandma and us of course made 16. Luckily I made 2 large Baked Ziti trays (Recipe on May 11th,2009 blog if you want it) and brought salad and cake and garlic bread. Yummy. My mom got some great gifts. The boys and my family made stepping stones and she got a navigation system and a digital photo frame. It was a late night but we headed back around 8:20 and got home around 10p.

Isaac is doing amazing with the potty I haven't really updated on that in a long time. He is doing his business every time in the potty though he does still wear night chonies since he doesn't wake up for that. Noah is showing interest in the potty but really doesn't have an idea of what you do with it. I think we are going to try to start letting him sit on it right before tubbies but we are not going to bother pushing anything.. He is only 2 and most boys don't start till about 3 to start training. Adam is just leaning oodles and oodles daily.. He likes his Exersaucer in small doses. He loves to roll like a log.. It is hilarious.. This morning he rolled from his back to his front and kept going back to his back like a little log rolling away.. FUNNY I tell you FUNNY!
As for Me I have run into a little luck lately and am half tempted to go buy a couple lotto or scratch tickets. I won off the radio 2 GC and then Monday won a $25 Gift certificate to my friends Photo studio.. She was having a drawing and I happen to win.. Of course the odds were in my favor not many people put in the suggestions and the ones who did only entered 1 suggestion and I entered like 6 so I had close to a 50-50 or better shot.. But that is cool we are going to put it toward a family photo. And we will have our photo in for a drawing also if it makes it to the finals I will let everyone know because you can vote on our photo it is $1 a vote and the money goes to the Now I lay me down to sleep organization.. It is a wonderful organization.. So like I said I will let you know if we make it to the finals so start saving your ones in case..

Blowing out the candles.On other news!!! We broke out the new Alphabet Magnets for the frig.. It is great.. Isaac is learning to spell and put letters together we have to sit with him and help him still but hey he isn't even 4 yet so he is doing AMAZING!! And he isn't the only one.. Noah is grabbing the letters off the frig and bringing them to me and telling me what they are and he is pretty good he knows a few of them! This morning he told me G,B, T, N and A. He may know more but those are the ones he did just this morning.. My 2 year old is so smart.. I love it.. :D They both love to play with the magnets I really need to buy a second and maybe third box of them since they only gave us 1 big and 1 little letter for each letter. How are we supposed to spell words that have multiple Es and As and stuff. hmm I think more boxes are in order.
