4 mt check up
Well today I got up early cuz the boys were up running around upstairs. But had to take my brother to school and then work on some volunteer hours. Left the school at 8:45a was running a little late I wanted to be out earlier because Adam had his 4mt check up today. On my way from the school to the appointment I was listening to the radio and they were running one of those "caller whatever gets something" contests.. I never win those but it is fun to play with the phone and try. So imagine my surprise when the DJ says "Hi! Triple M you are the 8th caller!" And of course I was a little baffled my response was " Is that the number you were looking for?" Silly I know but I really wasn't paying attention to what number they wanted. But low and behold I won a $50 Gift Certificate to Lilianas Restaurant (http://www.lilianasrestaurant.com/) and a $50 Gift Certificate to Rock N Glam salon. Pretty darn neat.
So got to the Doctors. Sweet little guy is 15# 4 oz and 25.25 inches long. No wonder that baby carrier is getting heavier and heavier to carry. He also had to get 3 shots and his Rotovirus liquid stuff. Poor Guy I felt so awful since while we were waiting we were cooing and giggling up a storm. Even the doctor who's office was diagonal from our room stopped over to say how cute it sounded even through the door and that he wished his kids chattered as much as Adam was. Yup that is my boy.. CHATTERBOX like the rest of us.
After Kody got out of school Adam and I and Kody met my mom in Dodgeville to get our Meat (we just bought a 1/4 cow to fill our freezer) and to drop off Kody. Things have been pretty emotional lately and I really miss my mom so I kidnapped her for dinner. hehehe.. It was nice to be able to chat with her I wish I could get some real good 1 on 1 time with her maybe when I am rich we can do a spa day.. Or I can just start saving.. So in a couple years we can go.. :D
Monday the 15th is my mom's Birthday so we are heading down to Bagley to visit for the day.. I am making Baked Ziti and a double layer chocolate cake with Butter cream frosting in my new 8 inch square pans from my uncle Jim for my birthday. First Cake in the new pans.. YUMMY!
On another note my mom Bought me an Aquasana Shower filter (Thanks Mom and Bill) . So far I have had one shower, and 3 baths (I fill the tub with my shower wand--- takes forever but whatever) I think I am seeing an improvement on my skin.. I don't feel nearly as dry getting out of the tub and if I can control the scratching it isn't nearly as red and flaky.. I am still testing it out but I think so far it is helping. So if you want super filtered water grab a cup and hit up my shower. HEHEHE!

Well busy day tomorrow better hit the hay.. Got a cake to make and 2 pans of Baked Ziti to prep!
