Birthday Weekend
My 30th Birthday sort of took over the whole weekend.
Saturday I went out with Ally, Jacky and Deanna to Bandung Indonesian Restaurant. The food was awesome we got 3 appetizers to share between the 4 of us and then each our own meal. I got Sate Ayam it was a peanut chicken on skewers it came with a side of Acar which is pretty much cucumbers in a sweet pickling solution. Those were my favorite yummy. Then to top it off we had some yummy dessert.
Afterwards we went to a club to listen to the Madison County Band. Fun but not my type of music. But still fun.
Sunday was my big Birthday Foodie Dinner. We hosted 11 adults and 10 kids here in our smallish home. But it went great we fed the kids mac and cheese and hot dogs and sent them off to play, while the adults got to taste test some new yummy recipes. Most delicious.
Monday My actually 30th Birthday! I made the Melting pots Mushroom Spinach Salad, Apple Sausage dinner with Noodles and then we had a hershey chocolate pie for dessert. Yummy and fun. What a great weekend.
