My Adventures in Hair cutting.

Ok. Today was an interesting one getting started out. Though I have finally found the Sally's Beauty store I picked up One pair of hair cutting Shears and a pair of blending Shears to learn to cut the boys' hair.

Reason~ Their hair grows insanely fast and I just can't keep up monetarily or time wise with the upkeep.

So in a Salon
1 boy hair cut- $13
tip for boy cut- $3

Multiply by 2 because that is it for who goes right now that is $32 a time right now. Now with all 4 boys that is $64 a go.

Today's purchase.
1 pair of shears $20
1 pair of blending shears $20 but on sale for 1/2 off

Easy math but $30.

Gave 2 boys a hair cut today (Isaac and Noah) So my Shears pretty much just paid for themselves and put $2 in my pocket. And honestly I don't think I did a bad job. Watched a you tube video a couple times and sucked up some courage and started cutting. I did leave their hair longer for 2 reasons. 1 it is winter and I don't want them to freeze. 2. If I did mess up then the kiddos were off to a salon to be fixed. So here are some photos of my handy work and I am pretty DARN pleased with myself and the results.

Sorry Noah's photos are darker he was after nap time. And of course he was the squirmier of the 2 since he is still new to the taking directions. He has also never liked getting his hair cut.
