Birthdays Easter and More.

April 16th We celebrated my Oma's 80th Birthday party. Had a great time hanging out with family as much as running after 3 small boys allowed me. Nick of course had Drill.

It has been a busy month of running around and drills in between that we decided to stay home and do Easter here. No running or driving needed. Saturday started off with Coloring the Easter Eggs.

Saturday night we had 4 Adults and 7 Children here for the Klauer/Appleby-Sparrow dinner. Grilled up some yummy goodies and played Wii Party that Becky and Chris Brought over. What a great game for people with Younger Children. It isn't so Childish that parents don't want to play and it isn't too difficult and multi tasking that Children can't play.. All round a great game. Nick and I have been thinking on getting that game for a while and decided to go get it. It will be fun to play with the boys and when the boys go to bed. :D

Saturday after the boys were in bed and our guests were gone. We got our stuff around for the Easter Bunny. The EB left Isaac and Noah 2 paths to lead them to their baskets. Isaac's was more of thinking questions where as Noah's were go to this place type questions. And Adam got to reap the rewards of the brothers since his basket was with theirs since both paths led to the same spot.

We had Ally, Tim and River over for Easter "Dinner". But before we ate we did an Easter Egg hunt in the front yard for the boys and River. Much fun had by all. Daddy and Tim went around and hid the eggs all around the yard. After "Dinner" it was just a very needed clean up the dishes and rest sort of night.

Very fun weekend had by all.

For Future events. Nick again has Drill this weekend so he will be off bright and early Friday morning and back late Sunday night. Hopefully the weather will stay not so cold that the boys and I can maybe go to the zoo, botanical gardens or something fun to get out of the house.

I am working on my list for my freezer meals. I made freezer meals so far for Noah and Adam's Birth to save me the time and stress of thinking up something to make each night when I was tired. Both times I tried for between 24-30 meals. This time so far I have 26 meals of 10 different recipes. I am thinking 3 cooking days and I should be golden to get my stock in the freezer.

Here are the recipes I am thinking of:

Apricot Glazed Chicken Tenders
Pasties
Colorado White Chili
Buttermilk herb Chicken Breasts
Cheesy Chicken Bundles
Tator tot Casserole
Honey Pork Chops
Chicken in Phyllo packets
Chicken Breasts stuffed with Pesto Butter
Sirloin Strips in Wine Sauce

I will probably do a few sides around 5 of Mashed potatoes and maybe 2-3 of 2x baked potatoes. Really need to get on my list and start my cooking days.

As for other new things Adam was transitioned downstairs to his new big boy (Twin sized) bed and he did beautifully. He has been down there about 2 weeks and no problems. He loves his bed he cuddles down and passes out. We did change the room from the previous Lavender color to a Canary Song color. Kody is now upstairs in our Guest Room.. That Busy room was originally Nick and mine, then Adam and now our Guest/Kody's room. After next school year when my brother is off to college or where ever his path leads him it will be our Guest/Computer/Piano room. Which will be nice to get this desk out of my dining room and center my dining room table so we don't have to move it around all the time to get passed all the chairs to get to the computer.

I had another ultrasound because in our previous one they said that there looked like there was an enlargement of the Ureter on one side that leads out of the Kidneys to the Urethra, but in our recent visit we are all A OK. Everything is looking normal. Just 7.5 more weeks to go.

Hoping and Wishing everyone Health and Happiness.

Love Katrina
