Another Year Gone!
I know I have been pretty far behind on doing some personal blogging. Unfortunately my review blog sucked up all my free time and energy in the blogosphere. But I have come to the sad realization that I will not be able to keep up with Scouting for Products to review, testing, reviewing, blogging, photographing with in my Review blog while Nick is gone so I have Sadly Shut it down. It has been a fun couple years but trying to remember to get reviews out in a timely manner is just too much.
So what does that mean.. Well hopefully more blogging time on our family blog.
What's New?
Gabriel is getting so big. I got his hair cut the other day, I only wanted it trimmed up but it got chopped up shorter than my liking. Which of course makes him look way older.
Noah has done a huge shift from the Love of THOMAS to the Love of NINJA TURTLES. Which means he gave me a 1.5 week deadline to completely change his Birthday party Theme. Tomorrow My Handsome Second Son will be 5.. You read that right.. OH MY GOD 5.. FIVE.. BIG OLE 5.. YUP F.... I....V....E!!!!!
How did I get old enough to have a five year old who has an older brother? The Years are getting Shorter my friends. Which has lead me to ask for more cuddles, more hugs, more sit in my lap so we can read and talk. They are growing so fast that they will be growing out of my lap very quickly. But right now I am going to relish in the hugs they give me, the kisses they give me, the bed hogging they do when Nick is away, the cuddles they need to be comforted and all the love I can give them because way to soon I will have young men who might think they are too cool to love on mom.
Other fun....
I am still working on getting things around for when Nick is gone. We just passed our last one drill month, from now on it will be a gamble if Nick is here or not. He has a lot of training to do in a little time then come May will be heading to Ft Bliss and then June to Theatre. So we have papers to sign, phone to put on hold, gym to put on hold, car to sell, Insurance to fix, Work to deal with, get nick to make videos and read to the boys, a wish list for items for care packages to make and so so so much more. But Most of All Kids to prep. It will be just mom and 4 boys for a year so we are working on some techniques and really getting them all squared away... Yup I used the Military Squared Away in reference to my kids. But It is time!!
I am also planning a trip with my mom this summer back to VA. I can't wait to see everyone of my friends and family I have been missing. It has been a long time since I was there I am thinking Feb 2009 was my last trip to VA so I am ready.
Well As I said before I am hoping to keep this up a lot better. I am also thinking of joining a 52 week photo project that I may be adding a Photography Tab to my blog. Until Next time My Family, My Friends!!!!
